Two-Column Hydraulic Press - Why Does Hydraulic Pressure Drop

1. Loss of pressure along the way.

The pressure loss is caused by viscous friction when the two-column hydraulic machine oil flows in the equal-diameter straight pipe. The pressure will taper off and lose along the way.

2. Partial pressure loss.

When the hydraulic oil of the two-column hydraulic machine flows through the elbows, joints, gradual cross-sections, valve ports, and filter screens of the pipeline, the liquid flow will generate vortices and violent turbulence, resulting in pressure loss.

3. The total pressure loss of the pipeline system.

The total pressure loss of the entire pipeline system shall be the sum of all pressure losses along the way and part of the pressure loss.

Reducing the flow rate, extending the length of the pipeline, reducing the sudden change of the pipeline section, and improving the processing quality of the inner wall can all improve the issue of pressure loss. The important factor affecting the pressure loss of the two-column hydraulic press is the flow rate of the liquid.
